Pure Italian pleasure

Bolzano (Italy) - After many sketches, we had new Maserati GT Coupè's official pictures. Now it’s time for the first contact with new Italian four seater coupè, time to see how does it feel on the road.

History and motion
Shape of the new little Italian car will be designed by renowned Italian designer Pininfarina. Design looks cutting edge, sports and racing, but at the same time classic and elegant like its “sister” Maserati Quattroporte.
A wide concave radiatori grill at the front, and as a result a brawny hood. Wide front lights, wide and original alloys, rear spoiler and four exhausts, for quite an aggressive rear.

Feels like a Maserati
The new Maserati is not born to run. Actually, let us correct ourself before be beaten down, it does not born with the primary objective to bit the time on the race track; for that there is the Gran Sport version, lighter and more extreme on the reactions. Gran Turismo is a voyager to the maximum level, capable of embarrassing impressions for the most drivers: with the difference, compared to the sportive, that with this one drivers will drive on silk, fondling the commands, letting the perfect mechanic merge itself with the driver's driving skills. There is space for some acceleration, and it is unavoidable with more than 400 HP under the hood: the vocation of the Italian Gran Turismo is not deniable, but on the contrary is raised on an higher step on the staircase of the driving pleasure. That are the first contacts waiting the deep test drive that we will do in few days.
