The Harley-Davidson 2007 model year is simply breathless: starting from Electra, to keep on with Softail Custom, and again with Fat Boy, Dyna Street Bob, XL 1200 R, VRSCDX Night Rod Special, with its Screaming Eagle kit, and still again with VRSCR Street Rod, and Springer...well, the choice is very hard. New V2 Twin Cam 96 inch
The Twin Harley Davidson V 45° unit will celebrate its 100th Birthday in two years. Since its birth, it has been constantly developed by HD technicians, getting better and better year by year. But still without missing its unique Harley sound and style.
The latest evolution step was in 1999, when the previous V2 Evolution was replaced by the innovative V2 Twin Cam 88, which brought highest quality and performance. the V2 Twin Cam 88 lasted 7 years, while the V2 Evolution had a 18 years-old life, like the previous Shovelhead.
But the great new V2 Twin Cam 96 followed to the V2 Twin Cam 88, to offer even higher performance: 1584cc, 96 cubic inches. About the V2 Twin Cam 88
This unit still keeps the same general architecture of the Twin Cam 88, its design, and its best HD characteristic look. But its evolution represents the top, over all in terms of technology, mechanics and engineering. Capacity increases from 1450 to 1584cc.
With the V2 Twin Cam 96 Harley Davidson technicians reached both Eu and USA standards for both sound and carbon emissions.
