Opel / Vauxhall's new design trend...

The appealing coupè you could appreciate in our rich photogallery is the top model at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show: it is named Gran Turismo Coupè Concept (or GTC Concept), which shows an aggressive and original design. Shapes of this muscular 2+2 anticipate all future Opel vehicles design, starting with the next Vectra generation.
The new concept is based on the next-generation Vectra platform that will also spawn the new Insignia crossover.
Powering the GTC is a modified version of the current Vectra OPC’s 2.8L V6 turbo by 300hp through four wheels traction and six-speed manual transmission. The claimed 0-100km/h figure is a brief 6 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h.
The interior features electronic gadgets like park-assist, hard disk for navigation and audio, and automatic parking system.
