Siena (Italy) - Also Ford starts believing in the pick-up vehicles. Even if it was not a very renowned and appreciated vehicle in the past, now Ford dares to produce and sale a Pick up model, to give an inedited opportunity to this good vehicle to be known by customers.
The new Ranger has been widely renewed, firstly starting by the powertrain: it its cery different from the BT 50 by Mazda. The front is redesigend and the interior are similar to that of a sedan, while in terms of powertrain Ford Ranger Pick-up is powered by a 2.5 litres of 143 hp and a 3,0 litres TDCi of 156 hp, which can offer a peak torque of 380 Nm, also available with automatic Durashift gear.

Abundance of series, a variety of 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains, a trio of cab configurations and a wealth of options mean there’s a customized Ranger for every buyer.
Ranger emphasizes safety and security, with Ford’s Personal Safety System, tire pressure monitoring system and SecuriLock passive anti-theft system all as included as standard equipment. The Personal Safety System includes a front-passenger sensing system and dual-stage driver and front-passenger air bags. The tire pressure monitoring system uses sensors mounted on each of the wheels except the spare to monitor air pressure. Ranger is a five-time winner in the compact truck category of R.L. Polk & Co.’s Automotive Loyalty Awards. The 2007 Ranger is available in XL, XLT, XLT Limited versions.
