Fiat 500 Vs 6 !
TEST DRIVE - Fiat
The challenge with Aygo, 107, Ypsilon, Twingo, Materia and Panda!
What we are going to do today, is taking 6 renowned city-cars and try to compare all them, through a long test drive on the road. Let's introduce the protagonists of our long “six-test”: Toyota Aygò, Peugeot 107, Renault Twingo, Fiat Panda, Daihatsu Materia,Lancia Ypsilon Sport Momo Design and, of course, Fiat 500. All these new models are involved into a challenge against one car: new Fiat 500!
But let's start from the beginning.
Toyota Aygò Blu: automatic gear!
Toyota Aygò has already conquered the customers thanks to its original design, to its bright performance and low consumptions, and now it gets renewed: the new livery for Toyota Aygò includes the automatic gear and the characteristic blu colour. Infomomotori.co.uk could test the 2007 version of this city car among the rban traffic, but also on highway and long ways.
The 2007 Aygo Blu is equipped with an aluminium engine and with a standard automatic M-MT gear. The powertrain we are talking about is the 3 cylinders fuel 1.0 litres VVT-i, which can develop an horsepower output of 68 hp at 6000 RPM. The main task force of this powertrain is represented by its low consumptions and reduced CO2 emissions: 5,5 litres in 100 km on urban roads, and 4,1 litres in 100 km on extra-urban roads.
Peugeot 107: the little urban Lion...
Little, dynamic, funny and trendy. Peugeot 107 is the French solution in offering a practical vehicle to the customers. This car looks preatty small outside – its dimensions are 343 cm lenght and 163 width, but at the same time it is roomy and big inside, as 4 people can comfortably sit.
