Fiat 500 1.4 Sport vs Renault Twingo GT
TEST DRIVE - Fiat
France vs Italy, once again...
Today Infomotori.co.uk wants to suggest you a new comparison between two different models: New Fiat 500 and Renault Twingo GT represent two different ways of conceiving the world of four wheels, but they also represent the return of a classic model: the first one is quite nostalgic, while the second one is brand new.
Therefore this comparison is quite hard but unavoidable: Fiat 500 1.4 Sport focuses on exclusive design, while, on the other hand, Renault Twingo GT aims to offer enhanced usability and excellent comfort, even if it does not look so elegant.
200 horsepower
This is the result of the sum of the two vehicles' power. As a matter of facts, both Fiat 500 1.4 Sport and Renault Twingo GT are equipped by a powertrain which can develop an horsepower output of 100 hp, the 1.4 litres of the Itaian car and the 1.2 French turbo.
Both powertrains can ensure an excellent output, but the main difference is that Renault is better at low speed, while Fiat 500 shows its best at high speed.
On the other hand, the two cars are characterized by a similar dynamic behaviour. The arrangement focused on comfort obviousely penalizes the power of the two cars, which can not give the driver that particular feeling and stability which are necessary to drive such a powerful vehicle on total safety.
