Is the challenge on?

Talking about the new Fiat 500, we can not help making a comparison between the awaited new Italian compact car and its competitor Mini by BMW.
There are many opinions about it: somebody think that Fiat 500 and Mini are two cars completely different from each others; on the other hand, somebody think they both represent the result of the same strategy.

Also Infomotori.co.uk wants to say its own word about it, while waiting the official presentation which is going to take place in Turin, on Wednesday, 4th July.

The same philosophy
Firstly, we can certain consider this two cars being two products of the same philosopy. I.e, the main idea was that of taking an old renowned model car, and making a new updated modern version of it, still without missing a strong family feeling, which aims to be the premium of the segment. This is quite a risky strategy, which has already being successful for Mini though, and which is supposed to be successful for Fiat 500 as well.

Marketing
The two compact city cars have in common also a strong marketing campaign both aimed to support their launch and intended to young customers. Both BMW and Fiat made a large use of advertising and media to support this two cars' debut and create a strong expectations around it.

Now we only have to wait and see which one of the two competitors will longer keep on interest among customers.
